It is an important day for BFC because we’re launching our new website! It will still be on www.billingshurstfamily.church and there are a few tweaks that’ll be done over the next couple of weeks so be sure to check it out regularly!  

The role of the new website is to advertise BFC to potential visitors since the majority of people looking for a church will check us out online prior to visiting. This means that the new website tells people all about us, our vision, what we do in the week and what people can expect on a Sunday morning. We’re changing our host as well which means that the back end of the website will no longer be accessible after the end of the month. For the time being though you can still access the old website by pasting the following address into your browser so you can still access your existing rotas: 

billingshurst.churchinsight.com

Most excitingly though, we will be launching a new system called ChurchSuite for rotas amongst other things. There’s going to be a calendar which will also show key events that are coming up, a church address book which you can search and all your rotas. The rota part of the system will allow you to arrange swaps so that the rota is always up to date without having to wait for someone else to change it. There’s also a link to the podcast which is now hosted on SoundCloud. There is even better news though, for those of you who have iOS or android devices you will be able to download the ChurchSuite app which will allow you to have instant access to all of these features wherever you are.
