Operations Manager
Overview
Billingshurst Family Church are seeking an operations manager to help us to reach Billingshurst and beyond with the gospel. We need someone who can improve our systems, take responsibility for day-to-day church operations, coordinate events, and support the Elders and ministry leaders to achieve the mission and vision of the church.
The role includes managing church events; logistical support of Sunday meetings; co-ordinating with servers and managing rotas; communication with the church and in public forums, representing the church positively in all areas; management of social media, including basic content creation and overseeing the church website.
The applicant will need a good grasp of Office 365, excellent written and oral communication, with excellent organisation, administrative and interpersonal skills. They must be self-motivated, able to initiate and implement new ideas, working with all the key stakeholders to effectively manage change.
Key details and remuneration
18 months initial contract
Starting salary of £25-27k pa fte depending on experience (£20-21.6k actual)
32 hours a week
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays fte
Generous Pension contributions of 7%
